John A Ware - aWAREness InsightsMy career and life experiences have provided me with unique real world insights into the issues facing men and women today.  I understand people who are coping with the difficult balancing of inter-personal relationships, family relationships, and work-related issues including, with increasing frequency, the stress, anxiety and uncertainty created by job loss or career transition.

After receiving a Law Degree (JD) and Masters of Social Work (MSW) from Washington University, I spent more than 18 years in executive management positions in the corporate world before returning to my first passion in counseling.

Individual/Couples/Family Issues – I engage clients along the full spectrum of relationship problems from children’s issues to marriage counseling to divorce/post-divorce transitions and even parental elder-care.

Job Loss and Career Transitions – My practical experience in the business world helps me deal with stress and issues caused by down-sizing, re-organizational right sizing, job loss and career transitions.

Bullying – It isn’t a joke or a schoolyard phenomenon. It is a serious issue that can ripple from home to-office and back again. In addition to individual counseling, I also offer an educational presentation to community groups and business organizations on Bullying In The Workplace.

Life issues are not theories to me.
